The Skill Assignments feature empowers teachers and site administrators to guide student learning. This feature addresses diverse instructional needs with two distinct paths: Assign a Skill or Assign a Skill Pathway.
While students should still engage with their Suggested Skills, this feature provides the flexibility for teachers to assign specific skills or pathways based on their unique insights into student learning.
Watch the video below for complete details.

- Pre-Learning Activities: Prepare students for upcoming lessons by assigning a skill they’ll need to know beforehand.
- Reinforcement and Review: Provide additional practice for students, such as homework or extra support for skills they’re struggling with.
When should I use Assign a Skill Pathway?
- Scaffolding: Help students build a strong foundation by guiding them through prerequisite skills before tackling a more advanced skill.
- Skill Progression: Assign a pathway to ensure students follow a logical sequence of related skills, promoting deeper understanding.
- Long-Term Learning Plans: Use this feature for ongoing instructional goals that require students to progress through multiple interconnected skills over time.
