The Progress Page gives educators a comprehensive view of individual student progress, showcasing current skill results across target and support skills within a selected Roadmap.
This page provides insights into students' starting points, progress, engagement, and frustration levels. It also enables teachers to compare class performance and identify students who may need additional support. This page allows teachers to view skill completion across all grade-level Roadmaps, enabling them to make informed grade-level estimations of their students when needed. However, we still encourage teachers to have students work on either their grade level or the algebra roadmap. Students and Class Data Overview
Once you’ve selected your class and Roadmap, data will populate into the Students and Class tab.
The Students tab on the Progress Page is divided into three sections: Snapshot, Growth & Engagement, and Roadmaps Progress by Grade.
The Snapshot provides teachers with a quick overview of students’ current performance and engagement. It includes:
- Progress Bar: A visual representation of students’ current skill results, showing their progress across target and support skills within the selected Roadmap. Teachers can click on the progress bar to view skills in each status; however, to obtain a report with all of the skill statuses, download the Detailed Skill Report.
- Last Login Information: Details on when the student last logged into Roadmaps.
Teachers can use this information to:
- Identify skills where the student may need additional support and monitor their progress in mastering skills.
- Track student engagement by reviewing their last login activity.
- Monitor students’ overall Roadmap progress and sort by it so they can compare students' levels within their class to determine who may need additional support or follow-up.
- Easily see if any students are working on an unexpected Roadmap.
Growth & Engagement provides teachers with a high-level overview of student performance and engagement in a table format. It includes:
- Growth Metrics: Tracks skills demonstrated on the diagnostic, skills passed since the diagnostic, and remaining skills on the selected Roadmap.
- Engagement and Frustration Indicators: Highlights the number of skills attempted but not passed, the date of the last passed assessment, assessments taken since the last pass, and total assessments taken on the selected Roadmap.
Teachers can use this data to:
- Monitor individual student progress.
- Identify areas of struggle and disengagement or signs that students may be working on a different Roadmap than intended.
- Compare students’ performance and engagement levels within their class to determine who may need additional support or follow-up.
Roadmap Progress by Grade offers an overview of student performance across the skills associated with each grade level in their Roadmap. This feature highlights that the Roadmap includes both grade-level and below-grade-level skills. As a reminder, we recommend that students work on their grade-level or Algebra Roadmap.
Teachers can use this data to:
- Monitor the number of skills each student has successfully demonstrated within a specific grade level.
- Estimate each student’s proficiency relative to a grade level.
- View the distribution of skills across each grade level within the Roadmap.
The Classes tab, formerly the Skill tab, is designed to provide educators with an overview of student skill development within their classes. This tab offers a high-level summary of skills, categorized as Support, Target, or Both.
