Reset Diagnostic Attempts
Teachers can now reset completed diagnostics using the Reset Diagnostic Attempt button, which can be found next to the View Outstanding Diagnostics button. This can be found in either the Progress Report or the Assessment History Report under the Monitor tab. The Reset Diagnostics modal lists only students who have already finished diagnostics and provides a reset button.
To confirm your intention of resetting the diagnostic assessment, a dialog box will appear before the reset is performed. Select Reset Diagnostic to proceed with this action.
Resetting a student's diagnostic assessment will result in:
- Any skills marked “Placed Out” as a result of the previous diagnostic attempt being moved back to “Not Started.”
- The student will need to take the diagnostic again before accessing individual skills to work on.
- Skills that were updated during individual skill assessments will NOT be reset- those skill statuses will remain.
