Thinking about the best way to utilize Roadmaps in your classroom or educational setting? In partnership with our data and research team, we have identified several of our best implementation approaches and how they integrate with our platform.
1. Supplement High-Quality Instructional Materials
- Provide a 25-30 minute add-on of an extended core math block.
- Rigorous daily assessments for your HQIM lessons
- Unit views and assignments to support daily planning.
2. Intervention, Advisory, and Enrichment
- Provide 30-45 minutes outside of core math classes 2-3 times a week.
- Use in defined Tier II Intervention or other flexible period.
- Student grouping and individualized support.
3. High Dosage Tutoring and After-School
- Provide 30-45 minutes after school 3 or more times a week.
- In-person or online delivery.
- Tutors trained in best practices and provided support.
4. Homework and Summer Bridge
- Provide 60 minutes a week, with two or more skills assessed.
- Ensure students have access to a computer and internet at home.
In addition to these suggested implementation practices, we also have printable resources to increase student engagement, such as our Student Note-Taking Template and our How to use Roadmaps Time Poster.
